St. Brigid’s hosted a mass of Thanksgiving in St. Andrew’s on Wednesday 24th January to celebrate all grandparents as part of Catholic Schools Week. Many of the grandparents visited the school afterwards for refreshments and visited their grandson’s class where they played games and saw their artwork. Some grandparents even helped the 5th and 6th class boys to make St. Brigid’s crosses! Thanks to the Parents Council for providing refreshments. Everyone really enjoyed the opportunity to spend time together and to celebrate their grandparents who play such an important role in their lives.
